Simply Monica

Easy Framed Centerpieced

Wednesday, December 7, 2016

Hi everyone! Monica here sharing another Deflecto Crafts project which features the Curved Magnetic frame.  Simply pop the frame apart and pop a picture in or use it to create a Christmas centerpiece like me!

I simply added a piece of patterned paper from Canvas Corp brands and then used my glue gun to attach this glitter embellishment that says "ho Ho Ho".
I then added some Christmas trimmings to the frame to finish the piece off.
A super easy way to make a Christmas centerpiece.   I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi crafters! Team member Monica here sharing a card I made using Butterfly Kisses stamp set.  I took the main flower in the set and used it as the main focal point and stamped it in 2 different colors on my paper. .

Here is a closeup look of the card and I added a simple sentiment "Beautiful Moments"

I hope everyone has enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by.  Be sure to join us for the December Blog Hop and see what the design team has in store for everyone!!

Framed Heart Card

Saturday, December 3, 2016

Hi crafters! Team member Monica here saying Happy Holidays to everyone.  Today I am sharing this card I made using a November release called Love Butterfly Frame

Here is the card I created for today.  I was going for an elegant look by using basically colors with a pop of red.  We all know red is the color of love right so it is perfect for this card.  Love the butterflies and the floating hearts along the die just beautiful....

December Blog Hop

Friday, December 2, 2016
Welcome everyone and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!  Hopefully you have enjoyed all the amazing inspiration from the Joy Clair team and don't forget to comment to be eligible for not one, but two of the $25 gift cards Joy Clair is offering.

For my card I am using "Holly Jolly Santa" which is just one of the amazing new releases this month.  I colored him with Copics and used some patterned paper form Canvas Corp Brands for the actual card.  I then fussy cut my Santa out so he could hold his "Merry Christmas" sentiment which is from "Christmas Border" stamp set.

In case you get lost along the way here is the Joy Clair complete lineup:

2016-logo-1
For my project I created these two cards using: Winter Bouquet and Camellia Love from Flourishes
I used my Fabrico markers to color directly on the stamps
Use your Fantastix to blend all the colors together.  I find when I hold the Fantastix straight up it gives you a nice smooth blending of colors.
For my next card I used Kaleidacolor inks.  Take a look at how the ink when combined with water has a really nice watercolor look. They work beautifully with watercolor paper too!
and here is my card I created for my next project.

Stamp your image using Stazon ink in Jet Black and then take your embossing gun to heat set the ink.

I then used Gold IrRESISTible to color in the bow and give it a nice shine.
Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way....  I hope everyone has enjoyed the hop and loved all the gorgeous projects.

Cosmic Shimmer Flowers

Saturday, November 26, 2016
Hi crafters! Monica here sharing another Tutti Designs post featuring an October release called Tulip Panel  This die is covered with beautiful tulips and plenty of vines.

To create my card I used some Cosmic Flakes for the tulips and then covered the die with some Stardream Metallic cardstock.

I then laid my panel over a piece of cream colored cardstock and added a metal sentiment form Making Memories entitled "Friend" a perfect finishing touch to the card.

I hope everyone enjoyed my post and be sure to check out all the Tutti Designs links below:
